Pia Has a Birthday!

The Havies held a SURPRISE! dinner party for me the day after my 42nd birthday at one of our favorite haunts, Fish & Co at Shangri-la Mall (bat opkors!) and I had absolutely no idea what they were up to.
Sis Edel just text me a couple of days before for Isabel and Clara to have a playdate, since I was to hand over her--or was it Pao's?--precious Tortoise and Hare havs.

Well, as luck would have it, Clara had gone to see Aladdin with Yanni, so it was the boys who came along with me.
One by one, the Havies started to arrive. First was Elsa. At that point, I still was clueless. I just thought that she happened to be in the area, since her hubby and kids were with her.
Next came Pao and Jan and this time they had a balloon arrangement and bag of gifts with them. THAT's when I realized what was going on! D-uh! He-he!

Last to arrive was Gee and I also received a couple of phone calls and texts from my other Havie-sisses, Patty and Therese, so I really had a great time!
I'm not used to being the "center of attention" so I didn't really know what to say, but I was so touched by the kind gesture of my friends!

September Birthday Celebrants

The pretty gels gang--those of us who were able to make it--celebrated the September birthdays of Bill, Margie and Mon at the Vitans' beautiful home at Loyola Grand Villas. The food was great!

Strawberry Shortcake

According to the latest "Little Girl Land News," Strawberry Shortcake dolls are the way to go now! Clara has a Crepes Suzette one and Isabel has the Raspberry Torte doll. Both are PINK, in case you haven't noticed... he-he!

Fun at our fave mall: Shangrila!!!!

Not very long ago... Eds and I took the kids for a "spin" at Shang. First we hung out at--as usual--Starbucks Level 6, then we had dinner at Arkin's fave spot: Fish & Co!

Clarabel at the Mall... again!

After a very long time, the twinsters finally got to hang out again and boy did they have a blast! We met up at Fish & Co at our favorite Shang Mall: me, Unna and Clara plua Edel and Isabel=FUN! We stayed til maybe two seconds to closing time at Starbucks Level 6 and we almost had a teary goodbye again! "Tomorrow is another day!"
 

Ok. These are Ciara and Diona, the "Wicked Twins" from the Bratz series. Clara and her friend Isabel (my co-Havie-addict friend, Edel's 5-year old daughter) LOVE these dolls! How much? Well... here's how much: they ARE them!
They love it when they know they're going to meet up at Shangri-la and they start playing IMAGINE with their dolls. This is actually a great way to find out what's going on in your kids' minds, he-he! So far, so good... they're a very HAPPY PAIR! BFF (best friends forever) alert!

How surreal. I was doing the grocery one night this week, and when I looked in the hotdog bin, THIS was in there. Strange. I never even saw it advertised anywhere. Sam Milby is a guy who used to live in the Philippine Big Brother house, the original edition. He hit it big singing some songs and most especially when he sang a jingle for Closeup toothpaste. He has been showing up everywhere, selling everything including--but not limited to--

Good (?) News! I actually found soozy hopper again! :) Azteeg! Gotta tell the others... Wait... here's the link, heaven knows how long it's going to stay open:soozy hopper Ok, this photo has absolutely NOTHING TO DO WITH THIS POST. Ok... I just kinda figured this new soozy hopper blog is bogus :( Gone are the FUN days!

This is so STRANGE... I just discovered this blog soozyhopper.blogspot.com last night and I hadn't even finished reading all of the few entries it had (because I had to step out for the night) and this morning, it was gone! Just like that! Well, it was full of juicy bits on local society people and wannabes, after all. I dunno if the Net Police (if there's sucha thing) wiped it out, or may the creator ITself deleted it. All that's left is this link http://www.blogger.com/profile/22997077 which has this pic which I posted here. Too bad because it was a VERY INTERESTING read, to say the least.

Clara's got on an uncooperative face because she was probably getting sleepy at the time. Then there's Curly with Unna :)

Aww.. look! It's Elmo with FM when he did his first TVC for Lucky Me Supreme La Paz Batchoy... He was 3 or 4 then and he used to make that really cute expression with his face ALL THE TIME! And now, he's almost 12 and he got his braces put in last Saturday. Awww...

Here's Maxx and Tracy.
She sent me this pic after Tracy'd just taken a bath. Isn't she adorable? Uh, ok... Maxx is too! Ha-ha sweetie :)
Kidding aside, Tracy is still such a baby that she has just gone thru her vaccination shots and in-between she wasn't allowed to have any baths so she was kinda "smelly," but I guess that period has passed.

This is a pic of FM and Saab taken in November 2005, when they hosted the Crissa Jeans Grand Finals at Market Market. They did a really good job, especially Saaby--considering it was her first-ever hosting job!
It looked like she was having fun and in-between breaks a reporter from Studio 23 even interviewed them for Wazzup-wazzup show and she said she told them that at first she was apprehensive to do the gig but when she actually began, all her fears flew out the window :)
I hope she does more hosting in her school so she can get more practice and be more comfortable doing it.

Ely and Pupil guested on EB sometime in Dec 05 to sing superproxy with FM and Hardware Syndrome. Saaby and Mikko came to the studio and I took this pic of them in the dressing room using my phone cam.



Earlier, we'd already shot the music video at the TAPE studio in Manggahan, Pasig. Directed by FM, of course!
